8903 W WHITE BACKGROUND LACQUER

Background lacquer, white.
ARDROX 8903W is a suspension of a white pigment in a resin base, which utilises a fast drying, flammable solvent (non-chlorinated) system to facilitate speed and ease of application. ARDROX 8903W is used in conjunction with the ARDROX black magnetic particle inspection processes. It provides an excellent contrasting white background when dark steels are being tested. ARDROX 8903W provides a matt finish, free from reflections, which assists the viewing of defects. The smooth surface finish provided by this product allows the magnetic ink to remain mobile on the surface for longer, thus assisting the detection of fine defects.
800/3 BLACK MAGNETIC INK

Black magnetic ink, pre-mixed, high sensitivity.
Ardrox 800/3 consists of very finely divided black magnetic particles suspended in high flash point odourless kerosene designed to provide good particle mobility. The black particles have been selected for their high magnetic response, low coercivity (to avoid coagulation) and prolonged operational life.
8530 FLUORESCENT MAGNETIC INK HIGH SENSITIVITY

Ardrox 8530 is a high sensitivity ready-to-use fluorescent magnetic ink on a high flash point, low aromatic petroleum distillate.
It is used for the detection of surface and near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials. It will be able to detect fine grinding and fatigue cracks, non-metallic inclusions and larger cracks.
Due to the fluorescent nature of Ardrox 8530 under UV light, it is ideally suited to critical inspection requirements as defects are more readily visible when compared with conventional coloured inks.

9D1B DEVELOPER

Ardrox 9D1B is used as a developer in penetrant testing of forged parts, welds, cast and drop forged parts. Ardrox 9D1B offers best results with both color contrast and fluorescent penetrants while the thicker layer provided by Ardrox NQ1 will make it especially suited for color contrast penetrant testing applications.

Penetrant remover, solvent, for fluorescent and visible penetrants
The solvent removers Ardrox® 9PR5, 9PR50 and 9PR88 are a series of non- chlorinated, volatile solvents which are used for the removal of surface excess penetrant in the solvent removal process or wipe-off technique. They have a low sulfur and halogen content. The Ardrox® 9PR series of solvent removers are ideal for the removal of oil, grease and other organic contamination as a pre-cleaning of surfaces before the application of a penetrant or a magnetic ink.
