One special feature on this model is the option of selecting from automatic and manual operating modes. In automatic mode, the appropriate level of protection is automatically set within a range from (Shade Level) SL 5 to SL 13. An additional light sensor measures the average power density of the arc and offers an optimum view of the weld seam. In grinding mode, the cartridge is deactivated and remains light.

Vizor Air/3X is a protection system for the eyes and airways that makes no compromises in occupational health and safety or comfort. In addition to proven glare protection technology, a unique air flow system within the welding helmet offers infinitely variable air distribution between the forehead and breathing zones. Vizor Air/3X is therefore a truly “clean” solution for the user, as 99.8% of particles are filtered out and pleasant cooling is provided for the welder.
The lithium-ion battery delivers an operating time of up to 18 hours. An acoustic & visual alarm is triggered if the battery is low, the filter is clogged or missing, or in the event of low air flow.
The system is used where the environmental conditions do not allow for optimum extraction of the welding fumes, for example for flexible welding work, or work in confined spaces and highly polluted ambient air.

Thanks to the high-grade materials used (real leather, for example), the S3 safety boot is water-, oil- and dirt-repellent. Its excellent fit owes a great deal to its natural orthopedic leather lining and the interchangeable footbed insoles.
The sole provides excellent protection, thanks to its acid resistance, antistatic charge, penetration resistance and contact-heat resistance up to 300 °C. The S3 safety boot is available in sizes 39 - 47.
